This month's 'C' walk in The Lake District, led by David Whitehurst, started with a leisurely boat trip on a sunny morning on Ullswater , over to Howtown and the start of the walk.
            The group enjoyed the spectacular views over Ullswater and the surrounding hills ,before arriving back in Glenridding in time to enjoy the local hospitality.                                                 photos David Whitehurst
  
 
   
   
"A" walk led by Mike James and John Jones followed Patterdale to Low Hartsop then followed Hayeswater Gill to Hayeswater then up to the summit of The Knott. We then returned via Angle Tarn
