B walk - An 8.5
mile walk led by Roger. From the New Dungeon Ghyll an easy walk led down
the Great Langdale Valley to Elterwater, then a moderate climb up
Lingmoor Fell in great weather with fantastic views of the Lake
District. Lunch on the top followed by a steep climb down to Blea
Tarn, then returning to Great Langdale via the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel
where we sampled the wares. photos Diana Young |
