This month our walks are based on Llanberis in Snowdonia. The coach will leave school as usual at 8.00 am prompt. There will be no toilet stop enroute as there are toilets at or near the start of the walks. The outward journey will be through Betws-y-coed to enable the A and B+ walks to start at Pen-y-pass, and then drop down to Llanberis where the B and C walks start. All walks finish at Llanberis where there is a good choice of refreshments. We plan to leave at 5.30pm and should be back in Formby by about 8pm The final routes for A and B+ walks are not yet decided and the descriptions below are of the most likely route, hence read the description circulated on the coach carefully, and discuss with one of the walk leaders if you have any concerns.
The cost of travel will be £10.00 for members, £13.00 for non-members and £5.00 for Leaders, children and students in full time education. Please make your cheque payable to Range Walking Club and ensure it is signed as it is inconvenient for the Treasurer to chase up such omissions.
Please send in your return to the Treasurer before 6th September; places will be booked on the coach by the treasurer on a first come first served basis.
Cancellations: if you need to cancel or make a late booking, please contact the Treasurer on 01704 871308 who will endeavour to substitute your booking from any waiting list. If this is not possible, then regrettably we will not be able to give you a refund as coaches will have been booked on initial returns.
