This month all walks start and finish in Bala. The coach will leave school as usual at 8.00 am prompt. There will be NO toilet stop on the outward journey. Toilets are available in Bala at the start of the walks. There are plenty of refreshment opportunities in Bala at the end of the day. We plan to leave at 5.30pm and should be back in Formby by 7.45pm
The cost of travel will be £10.00 for members, £13.00 for non-members and £5.00 for Leaders, children and students in full time education. Please make your cheque payable to Range Walking Club and ensure it is signed as it is inconvenient for the Treasurer to chase up such omissions.
Please send in your return to the Treasurer before 6th September; places will be booked on the coach by the treasurer on a first come first served basis.
Cancellations: if you need to cancel or make a late booking, please contact the Treasurer on 01704 871308 who will endeavour to substitute your booking from any waiting list. If this is not possible, then regrettably we will not be able to give you a refund as coaches will have been booked on initial returns.

This walk gives us a full circuit of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake).
We leave Bala along a path passing the northern end of Lake Bala, over the river Dee, to a track and then a path climbing, steeply at first, to the south, through pinewoods and then tufty grass, to reach a level track that takes us through a plantation to moorland.

The walk, which includes a number of well-built ladder styles, explores the attractive hills south of Bala and offers panoramic views of the lake and surrounding hills and mountains.
