On Sunday, 20 September our walks are based on the village of Caldbeck in the North Lakes.
The coach will leave school as usual at 8.00 am prompt. There will be a brief toilet stop at the Westmorland Services just past Junction 38 on the M6.
Caldbeck is a large village and is well equipped with a tea shop, pub, and large village green as well as a clogmaker!
All walks will end in the village and we aim to leave by 5.30pm and should be back in Formby between 7.30 and 8.00pm

| We set off on the Cumbria Way following Cald Beck to St. Kentigern’s well, a pack horse bridge and through Parson’s Park (muddy on recce) before turning south across the fields to the pretty village of Hesket Newmarket. |
