On Sunday 15 October we will walk in the Langdale area of the Lake District. The coach will leave school as usual at 8.00 am prompt. There will be a toilet stop en route. The ‘C' Walk starts from Skelwith Bridge please be booted up and ready for a quick disembark. Other walks start and all walks finish at New Dungeon Ghyll where there are some facilities. We plan to leave at 5.30 pm to be back in Formby at about 7.45pm. Conditions underfoot mean walking boots will be essential.

Starting from New Dungeon Ghyll we cross Mickledon Beck to Side House, head towards Wall End and thence by Red Acre Ghyll to the summit of Pike of Blisco (705m). |
