Please meet in the car park at 9.15am for a 9.30am start. If possible, share a car to save space.

The Walk.

The walk uses the Cheshire Lines Footpath and the Leeds/Liverpool Canal towpath.

Distance: 6½ miles. Ascent: less than 100 feet. Leaders: David and Carole Wake

There is a limit of 40 people for the meal, so early booking is recommended. Members are welcome to bring guests, but not to the exclusion of other members.

The Bootle Arms have said that they will take your lunch order at lunchtime at your table therefore there is no requirement to pre-order, but you may have to be patient. I need to know who is attending to reserve tables, so if you are coming please complete and return the form below as usual.

They also have a “2 for 1” offer for main courses where you only pay for the more expensive choice but you will have to ‘pair-up' for this. The offer does not apply to starters or desserts.

If you have problems on the day or on the way there, call me on 07709 564345.

Any contact before the day of the walk as usual, David Purdy (874942), or David Wake (878439).

The next full walk is on Sunday Sunday 21 st January 2007, on the Gritstone Trail, Cheshire.
