'B'+ Walk
Starting at Barden Tower we cross the River Wharfe and climb steeply up to Simon's Seat. An equally steep descent takes us to Skyseholme. We pass through the picturesque village of Appletreewick to reach the River Wharfe which we follow to Grassington.

'B' Walk
Starting from the roadside near Bolton Abbey we proceed down to the Pavilion and the River Wharfe and continue along the east bank past the Stridd towards Grassington with a diversion to Appletreewick. A pleasant winter's walk with minor changes in height of about 500'.

Distance: 10 miles
Leaders: David Griffiths and Keith Ellard

'C' Walk
The walk starts at Stridd Wood car park (where, if open on the day, there is a small shop/coffee stall and lavatories). This is a very pleasant walk on the level along the valley of the Wharfe, for the most part on the river bank or through the fields alongside (where it may be muddy in places). We head initially to the village or Burnsall and then to Grassington where there should be an hour to explore the tourist facilities.

Distance: 7½ miles
Ascent: Negligible
Leaders: David and Ginny Willis
