Range Walking Club
Sunday 23rd January 1994-Derbyshire-Tideswell

The next set of walks are on Sunday, 23 January in Derbyshire and are based on the beautiful Peak District village of Tideswell in the northern part of the limestone plateau. All of them are circular walks and most of them cover parts of Millers Dale, Tideswell Dale, Cressbrook Dale, Tansley Dale and Monsal Dale. The scenery throughout is pleasant as we go along river valleys and old railway lines past old mills (including a peppermint mill).

NB Although the walks do not involve a great deal of climbing, underfoot conditions are likely to be treacherous and care will need to be exercised by all concerned.

As usual we leave school at 8.00 a.m. prompt and expect to be back in Formby by 7.30 p.m. The cost of travel is £4.00 for adults and £2.00 for children and students (under 18 years of age). Please return slip with cheque (not cash) to the school office by Thursday, 13 January.
