November 4th -- Skipton, Yorkshire Dales
Overcast but with sunny periods, varied cloudscapes and glowing autumn colours

The C walkers followed a linear low level walk from Thornton in Craven, then passing through Carleton in Craven and finally into Skipton along the canal towpath.
Theory: solar panel put in to operate the gates behind then found the wall was blocking the sun leading to some less than subtle modifications!
Stone Circle?
Debate: Saxon burial ground or modern artwork?

The B circular walk followed the Dales High Way northwards out of Skipton over Park Hill and Skipton golf club and on to Flasby by way of Sharp Haw. Then headed back to Skipton through Crag Wood and Tarn House Farm. (Thanks to Dave Flaherty for replacing an indisposed Roger in leading this walk)
