4th February -- Denbigh
Lucky again with the weather in Denbigh, ground conditions were the worst we've had for a while, even so we all had a great time.

The A walk
started in Loggerheads park
finding various carved wildlife in the woods
Frosted foliage and distant snowy peaks
The snowy top of Moel Famau
St Cynhafal's Church, Llangynhafal
Scary horse!
Denbigh Castle "Dr Hesketh, I presume?"

The B walk headed out of Denbigh through the pretty strip of community woodland then continued Westward to Efiviat Park. From there we turned South through Groes to join the river Ystrad at Nant-yr-hengoed and followed the river back to Denbigh.

The C walk headed out of town through the community woodland "Mount Wood" and then meandered across Galch Hill towards Gwaynynog house where Beatrix Potter spent some time, then down to Dr Johnsons monument. On the way back it passed Dr Johnson's cottage (in need of some renovation and modernisation!).
