7th July -- Glenridding, Lake District
The 'Cs' walked down to Patterdale and the along Grisedale Valley to Eagle Crag, there crossing the river for return via Lanty's Tarn , into Glenridding and on to Stang End. Then after crossing the river, they returned to the coach via Rattlebeck and the camp site in time to catch the final stages of 'some' tennis game on TV !

A quick briefing before the final push.

Starting from the lakeside near the Aira Force path , the A walk did a wide circuit following the old coach road round the north side of Matterdale Common then heading south to Raise via assorted Dodds, returning along Genridding beck.
