This month the 'C' group's walk took them from Llandegla Village  along the Offa's Dyke Path ,through Llandegla Forrest and.

 

 
 over the moor to Worlds End  
 
 From there there we continued along Offa's Dyke under the impressive cliffs of Greigiau Eglwseg ,before cutting across to Valle Crucis Abbey .Moving over to the canal , we were joined by the 'B' group, the groups continued onward to Llangollen and our refreshments  
     

The coach dropped the B party at Carrog for a 10 mile walk to Llangollen via a bit of a roller coaster ride over the Llantysilio Mountains, a very close thunderclap disturbed their lunch on the top of Moel Morfyd, then the canal walk again finishing at the Excellent Corn Mill for light refreshments.

 

 

 
 
     

The A walkers starting from Corwen and using the Clwydian Way for most of the walk finishing on the canal for the the final sprint to the Corn Mill Inn -  about 13.5 miles in all.
